If I offered to give you 10 million pounds right now, would you take it?
Except there is one catch.
You won’t wake up tomorrow.
Now what would you say?
Would you still want to take the money?
I’m pretty sure I know the answer.
Think about this for a second.
It means that today is worth more than 10 million pounds to you.
That’s some value on living.
Yet why are you stuck in your head, stressed, worried, unable to be present?
Or maybe you’re not.
Perhaps you’re just feeling listless, lethargic and lackadaisical.
We are human, we will all feel these feelings from time to time.
Feeling them isn’t the problem.
But staying in them and giving them power, is.
But when we truly capture the significance and value of today it’s very difficult to stay stuck in those states.
Because today is worth so much.
An amount of money most dream of isn’t worth nearly as much as this current day.
Yet often we let life just pass us by.
We sit and wait for a reason to feel alive and to make it count.
But we already have the most profound reason.
We are alive.
Right now. Today.
That is incredibly valuable.
More than any life changing amount of money.
